Step 3. Validation

The validation phase is an initial 2-3 month research phase which will investigate the product and the market context of the proposal, along with developing a 'Product Development Specification' (PDS) for the selected projects. The PDS will define the framework and development strategy for each individual project, along with the key market, design, production, business, and budget requirements, to ensure that the risks are clearly outlined and understood.
